In the last 20 years Dave has volunteered over 3,500 hours to deliver safety training and set up safe work processes for Ottawa-area firefighters. He has also spent 500 hours developing and delivering electrical safety training for children.

This project involved the complete redevelopment of the Toolkit to make it more relevant and applicable to its users. In 2007, the site averaged 55,000 visits per month. The average user spent 8.5 minutes reading content and downloading practical tools, templates and checklists.
