employees and the introduction a Short-Term Disability program to 8,300 management, supervisory and administrative employees.
Javier made a compelling case as to why these changes were good for Canada Post employees and the company.

He is strategic and has been invaluable in establishing CUSO-VSO as one of the leading volunteer sending agencies in North America. He is
an accomplished analyst and synthetic thinker.

Tom Bursey is a recently re-elected HRPA Board Director, HRPA Honourary Life Member and Past-President of the Ottawa Chapter.
His accomplishments include: championing the creation of the Corporate Directors' Specialized
Program (Human Resources Compensation Committee Certified-HRCC) in partnership with the Directors Colleges at McMaster University and,
Chairing HRPA's Research Foundation Task Force which led to the creation of HRPA's
Human Resources Research Institute (HRRI).

The objective is to return experienced officers to patrol to provide guidance and mentoring to a younger workforce. The program also allows new opportunities
for officers to gain operational experience in specialty areas in order to develop as a “well-rounded” officer.
